Abita Ad Campaign (Concept)
8.5”x11” single page ads for Abita Beer Brewing Company advertising campaign.
The concept for this campaign focused unique qualities of the south and how southerners take pride in all the things they do, things they say and the products they consume.
To accompany my Abita ad campaign, I also designed a mock-up micro site and coasters to compliment the print ads and connect viewers with the Abita brand as a uniquely southern brand of beer. The microsite would feature an interactive quiz that would allow the viewer to be placed in hilarious situations and predict how a southern would deal with that situation. A point system could be applied where they could compete with friends and win small prizes like t-shirts or pint glasses.
Since the campaign features drinking tips, having them on coasters made tremendous sense, since the viewer would most likely be reading them in a bar.
