Performance Place
UX Design
Performance Place is a website run by chiropractor and physical therapist Sebastian Gonzales who specializes in helping clients with sports-related injuries. Sebastian’s website traffic had been driven through his high candence of content, however organization of the content was lacking. The original site maintained a sort of blog-style layout but had no search and did not separate text content from blog content, but quickly was outgrown as Performance Place’s content continually grew.
I was tasked to organize and introduce new features to Performance Place, to help direct users to content they needed. This meant creating a distinc separation between Articles and Podcasts, as well as using the home page as an aggregate and providing a search feature whenever possible.

About
Hello! I'm Tom. I've been a professional designer for just about 10 years now and have always felt an affinity for problem solving. I believe designing thoughtful solutions begins with a deep understanding of three things: the problem, the user or audience and desired outcome.
When I'm not working I enjoy moonlighting as a photographer, camping, playing video games and occasionally making noises on my guitar.
