While almost always in a constant mess, I have a romantic love with the idea of organization. I’m not sure if reality and the ideal will collide anytime soon. But if it ever does, I’d have no qualms splurging on this office set to keep everything in order.
The Never Never Land House built by architect Andrés Jaque smooches the memory time line from modernism to recess. The stern geometric terraces weighted onto stilts holds to a lighthearted touch with it’s colors, almost becoming a modernist party tree house. The structural statement will probably flow right into place with it’s surroundings in Ibiza.
What is it about steam pressed furniture that is so sexy? Manipulation of organic materials? I don’t know or care. Unfortunately I don’t have much information on this piece or the designer, except that he is Korean and his name is Bae Sehwa. Enjoy.

Bags made from reclaimed materials, Alice Saunders injects the aesthetics of an old Stanley thermos into her one off pieces. There’s an interview on D*S going over some of her tools and process. It mentions that she’s never without one of three knives at any time. Now that’s a lady I want to meet.
